I always thought I'd missed some sort of warden memo. Anyway. My father went through a protracted period of unremitting, murderous human-hate, so you probably can't shock me, and I'm something a bit less than half human myself at best, so I'm not terribly likely to take anything personally.

What made your father hate humanity?

Never a fan as a whole, but it was more and an impersonal disdain and willingness to be ruthless for most of his run. Then my mother died in a pointless act of petty violence with a vague ideological polish.

Humans lie, cheat, destroy everything they touch. Mostly for personal gain or greed. That is why they wage war so often.

As I say, mother was a blow, but he wasn't a tremendous fan of the species from the beginning. So. I'm not going to recoil in horror that you don't enjoy the... more disappointing aspects of humanity.

Many get offended if you don't focus on what they feel are the positive aspects.

I assume you know what they are? However theoretical the knowledge is for you?

I didn't really think you were unfamiliar with the concepts of love, hope, and cooking with too much garlic. So we can skip that.
