As far as I'm aware he was told of our deal. But according to him I should have refused, and so it is my fault.

If anything, he should have been angry with him. I certainly would have been with Jamil, were it us in that situation and he hadn't discussed it with me prior.

I have more frustration towards him wishing for extreme revenge when he's cherished one is still among the living.

Death being impermanent here does complicate that somewhat. Not to say his reaction isn't absurd.

Good grief. I'd say I hope his time in Zero gets his head on straight, but that type doesn't seem like one to change much after a time-out.

Yunlan did not die. Apparently someone found a way to cure him here.

If he had met his end, I'd understand Shen Wei's need for revenge.

Truly, I'd say intent is just as important, if not more important.

But that does not seem to apply to this situation either.

I don't believe he has control of his anger, so there is a possibility. It would not be wise for him to do so, however.

Various people were upset by this incident, including Cloud. Regardless of whether or not you'd be in the right to defend yourself, the fallout would no doubt lead to stress for him yet again.

Cloud grows stronger through suffering, though at the moment he does not realize this.

Shen Wei made the mistake in giving away what he fears to lose the most. He cannot handle even the mention of a threat. Getting him to crumble is an easy task.
